John A. Fantauzzi is a partner in the law firm of Englert, Coffey, McHugh & Fantauzzi, LLP, located in Schenectady, New York where he has practiced law since May 1996. John received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Public Policy from the College of William and Mary in 1995 and was a member of William & Mary's National Trial Court Team. John also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siena College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

John is a member of the Real Estate Committee and chaired the Estate Planning and Elder Law Committee for 5 years of the Schenectady County Bar Association. He also is a member of the Saratoga County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Federalist Society.

Since 2003, John has been a Hearing Officer for the Surrogate Decision Making Committee that reviews proposed medical treatment for disabled persons. In 2006, John served as a Town Justice in the Town of Ballston.

John has spoken to various groups on the subject of Estate Planning including the New York State Bar Association in 2003, the Schenectady County Bar Association in 2007 and the Foundation of the NYS Nurse's Association.
